This course is about corporate financial reporting – the form and content of the mandatory financial information disclosed by the firms to the external parties (e.g., shareholders). This course is designed to provide the student with an understanding of the underlying measurement concepts and the valuation and measurement rules for tangible and intangible assets, liabilities and stockholders^’ equity, as laid down in GAAP.
