Strategic Management 1 focuses attention on the role of the senior management function to develop and implement strategy in the context of internal resources and organizations under the conditions of transitional economics. This course also focuses on analytical methodologies and techniques for crafting and executing strategies. It draws upon case material based on companies differing sizes, technologies and degrees of diversification. By providing an insight into the strength and weakness of the enterprise, the opportunities and threats from the external environment, it helps the strategists fundamental knowledge and information to build and select the appropriate strategies which are presented in Strategic Management 2.
