This course focuses on the research methodology to aid for management and business decision-making. It also includes the process of designing the research project. Students will choose their own project based on their interest or given by lectures, this will enable students to explore and examine a relevant and current topical aspect of business in the context of the business environment and their chosen specialist. The course enables students to demonstrate the capacity and ability to identify a research theme, to develop research aims, objectives and outcomes, research design and to present the research proposal in both written and verbal formats. The course also encourages students to reflect on their engagement in some data collection methods, statistical techniques as well as the theories that will help them in personal development and the future career.
