Special Topics of Banking and Finance
I. GENERAL INTRODUCTION
The course "Special Topics of Banking and Finance" is designed for third-year students majoring in Business English at the National Economics University. It focuses on providing a balance between theoretical and practical knowledge in banking and finance, enhancing both academic and professional skills. Key topics include financial systems, financial intermediation, banking management, risk management, financial markets, and financial instruments.
II. COURSE AIMS
The course aims to:
- provide a comprehensive introduction to banking and finance systems.
- strengthen business terminology and language specific to banking and finance.
- stimulate interest in the field, encouraging deeper independent study.
- develop professional skills such as teamwork, presentations, negotiations, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
