This course is intended for the first year students of Business - oriented English Program.
It is mainly designed for students who have learnt English at high school (in either the 3-year or 7-year program) and who haven't got used to listening skills. Therefore, Listening Skills 1 is designed to equip students with practical skills to improve their listening skills step by step.
The course provides students with the chance to learn and practice listening skills that are mostly used in social communication. In addition, students can also enlarge their vocabulary, understand and use correctly intonation, pronunciation, collocation and language function focusing on daily conversations and academic situations in the area of collegiate study (Education, sociology, technology, business, art ....). It also provides students with the chance to combine their critical thinking with practical experience.
